Content Starts BBC2 Repeat Season Continues With Battlefield, Episode 1

The BBC’s ongoing season of repeats is nearing its conclusion as we reach the McCoy years and 1989’s Battlefield.

The serial was the first of the show’s final season and saw the return of Nicholas Courtney as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart. The episode in question attained the lowest ratings of any other during Doctor Who’s entire run with just 3.1 million viewers.

The season of classic repeats continues with Battlefield, a four-part story starring Sylvester McCoy 
1: England, the near future: the Doctor and Ace join the brigadier in a battle against warriors from another dimension.
With Sophie Aldred and Nicholas Courtney.
