Random House has come to an agreement with BBC Worldwide for the company to sell and distribute BBC audiobooks, previously available from AudioGO, including of course Doctor Who.
Random House will have responsibility for sales, management and distribution of a catalogues of over 3500 titles in the UK and the rest of the world excluding North America, Australia and New Zealand alongside development and co-production of new releases. Hannah Telfer of Random House said:
“At Random House we have long admired the BBC’s audio programme, sharing their passion for publishing the highest quality content. We’re very pleased to be working together to grow the BBC list and are committed to reaching the largest possible audience for their titles.”
All releases from Random House Audio will be available from Monday.
