The BBC have unveiled the first images from the Series 8 season finale and they show the return of a very familiar foes - the Cybermen.
The Cyberlegions have seemingly returned to Earth and London, confronted in these on-set photos by UNIT troops led by Kate Stewart and Osgood and the mysterious Gatekeeper of the Nethersphere played by Michelle Gomez. Speaking on her casting, Producer Steven Moffat said:
“I’ve known Michelle for years, and I’m thrilled to welcome her to Doctor Who. She’s everything we need - brilliant, Scottish, and a tiny bit satanic.”
The Cybermen take over Cardiff!
The production team have also been see filming in Llanelli District Cemetery as spotted by Lisa Howells-Evans on Twitter:

Doctor Who Series 8 will debut on our screens with the feature length Deep Breath on August 23, concluding in November.
