The BARB overnight ratings for The Caretaker have been released and show a slight decrease of 0.03m viewers on Time Heist, pulling in 4.89m viewers or 21.8% of the viewing audience.
Time Heist had drawn 4.92m and Doctor Who‘s retention of almost all of it’s audience at 8:30pm against The X-Factor can only be considered excellent.
Doctor Who was the third highest rated programme of the evening behind Strictly Come Dancing with 8.18m viewers and a 39% share and The X-Factor which drew 7.85m (down from last week’s 8.57m) with a 34.6% share, down from 40.1%.
A final consolidated figure for The Caretaker including all iPlayer viewings will be released in a weeks time.
