Comedian Frank Skinner has admitted his terror at the prospect of appearing in his beloved Doctor Who, spending hours worrying over his role in this Saturday’s episode.
Speaking on his Absolute Radio show, Frank informed listeners of the hours spent “fretting” over his performance but as Saturday approaches, in his own words: ” excitement has taken over my personal dignity”
Also speaking to What’s on TV, Skinner expanded on his feelings surrounding the role:
It was a strange mix between absolute, utter elation and terror. I didn't realise the pressure of being in a programme that you are completely in love with. Everything I did, I thought, 'Oh no, that isn't good enough for Doctor Who'. Frank Skinner
Frank will take on the role of Perkins in the episode, seemingly a train worker who somehow ends up in the TARDIS as these images show!
