Steven Moffat has answered new questions on the Husbands of River Song, gave a plot hint for Series 10 and possibly debunked the ongoing Peter Jackson rumours in a new Q&A session last night in New York.

Speaking following the premiere of The Husbands of River Song, Moffat said that the Doctor Who team are currently planning an episode that is “very much ancient world” and that we can very much expect more from Missy in the future.

During the rest of the session, Moffat speaks on what makes River Song special to him as a writer, Class, there being many more series’ of Doctor Who to come, the possibility of Captain Jack returning, the impracticalities of asking Peter Jackson to direct an episode of the series and much much more.
