Tim Roth Wants to Take Over From Peter Capaldi

Reservoir Dogs and The Hateful Eight actor Tim Roth has put himself forward as a candidate to replace Peter Capaldi as the Doctor when the current lead star leaves the role.

Speaking during a Q&A session with fans on Reddit, Roth was asked whether he would be the next Doctor, replying:

“Ok. If this is the casting director, I’m all for it.”

Could work!

Whether Tim would seriously consider the role is open to debate as his only major television role was Lie to Me and Roth is generally considered a film actor, currently starring in frequent collaborator Quintin Tarantino’s latest movie The Hateful Eight.
