Royal Mail have teamed up with the legend himself Tom Baker to announce the recommended posting dates for Christmas delivery this year. Tom, no doubt in his usual silky and booming tones, said:
“It’s the time of year when we want to remember our nearest and dearest and for those of us who can’t travel to see everyone, a card at Christmas can mean a lot to loved ones in far flung places. Not everyone can travel through time to see those we would like to, so it makes sense to post early for the festive season.”
The UK delivery dates are:
First class - Friday, December 20; Second class - Wednesday, December 18; Special delivery guaranteed – Monday, December 23.
Airmail:
Wednesday, December 4 - for Asia, the Far East, New Zealand; Thursday, December 5 - for Australia; Friday, December 6 - for Africa, Caribbean, Central and South America, Middle East; Monday, December 9 - for Cyprus, Eastern Europe; Tuesday, December 10 - for Canada, France, Greece, Poland; Friday, December 13 - for USA; Saturday, December 14 - Western Europe (excluding France, Greece, Poland).
So remember to order all those online Doctor Who gifts early!
