Big Finish Productions have released the trailer for the forthcoming The Dairy of River Song and revealed the release will be an extra Christmas gift this holiday season, being released on Boxing Day!
Originally slated for a January 2016 release, Big Finish have added to the Christmas cheer by bringing forward the set to December 26, meaning it’ll be a double festive dose of River Song this Christmas!

“Big Finish are delighted to announce that hot on the heels of her appearance in this Christmas’ Doctor Who Special The Husbands of River Song, the time-travelling archeologist will be back in action earlier than expected! The Diary of River Song: Series 1 will be digitally released on Boxing Day (or 26th December for those unfamiliar with British traditions)!
Alex Kingston makes her Big Finish debut in her spin-off series! The collection of four new stories will see River confront an ancient Egyptian curse, enjoy a marvellous party on a very exclusive space-station, tackle the threat of the world-ending SporeShips, and make a date with her future husband, the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann).”
