Actress Jennifer Saunders is in talks to star as The Doctor claim sources, but for only one episode!

Reported in today’s Sun, the newspaper claims that she will star as the Timecard as David Tennant leaves the role following three specials in 2009.

The article offers no explanations of how or why the actress would only star in one episode, but an alleged source told the paper:

“She’s in the running and we all think she would be fantastic.”

David Tennant stars as the Doctor for now however, appearing in Voyage of the Damned this coming Christmas Day.
