Nick Briggs, writer, director, voice of the Daleks and more will be visiting Mansfield Library on Sunday as one of the special guests at a family fun day from 11am-3pm. Nick, who will talk about his work on the show during a session in the auditorium, part of a day to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, is looking forward to the event
“I’m very much looking forward to coming to Mansfield Library to talk about my work on Doctor Who, both as the voice of many monsters and as a writer and producer of Doctor Who audio drama. I’ve loved the series for as long as I can remember, so this 50th anniversary year is a hugely exciting time for me.”
There will also be an action packed programme with plenty of workshops and activities with a Doctor Who theme.
Other guests include Richard Kirby, author of Desperately Seeking Susan Foreman, who will take part in a talk and book signing session alongside cosplayers Tom and Friends, who include two Daleks, Madame Du Pompadour, the Silence and David Tennant amongst their number.
