The Panic Moon fanzine is to make a welcome return this Decemner.
Panic Moon is an old-fashioned paper and ink Doctor Who fanzine. It covers Doctor Who from 1963 to present, providing insightful opinions on new stories and fresh perspectives on old ones. Each issue is illustrated with high quality original artwork. Unlike most previous fanzines, which tended to use the A4 or A5 paper formats, Panic Moon uses the smaller A6 size, to fit in the pocket so you can read it on the bus or in your lunch break!
December Details
The December 2013 issue of Panic Moon fanzine is available now. It’s our biggest and best issue yet.
This issue we welcome Peter Capaldi’s casting, review The Day of the Doctor, An Adventure in Space and Time, all series seven’s episodes, prequels and ‘minisodes’, plus missing-no-more stories The Web of Fear and The Enemy of the World. We also consider race in Doctor Who, look at the redesigns of the Cybermen, Ice Warriors and the TARDIS console, pay a heartfelt tribute to Dalek designer Ray Cusick and revisit An Unearthly Child from three different perspectives.
This issue’s writers include Toby Hadoke and other insightful scribes. The issue is lavishly illustrated with beautiful original artwork. The issue comprises 44 monochrome pages in Panic Moon’s distinctive A6 “pocket sized’”format. Just right for reading on the bus (or in the loo!).
