Former Eleventh Doctor actor Matt Smith is reportedly dating Downtown Abbey actress Lily James.
The pair were spotted at the Vanity Fair and Armani Party during Matt’s promotion of Lost River at Cannes and again in London this past week.
Speaking to The Express, a source said:
“When they noticed they were spotted Matt left abruptly in one direction, and Lily int he other”
James herself however denies the two are an item:
“Me and Matt are not together. He’s just my friend and we hang out a lot. We have the same circle of friends. We get on really well as we have a lot in common with acting.”
Matt smith was reportedly back in a relationship with model Daisy Lowe as of late last year after an earlier break-up between the two, a relationship that seems to again be over.
Smith’s wide ranging love life also caught up with him at the Glamour Awards Afterbash this past week as Lily James, Daisy Lowe and former ex Billie Piper were all in attendance alongside the star alongside Jenna Coleman, to who he presented the UK TV Actress Award!
A source at the ceremony told The Mirror:
“At one point Matt and Daisy were standing a metre apart but avoided eye contact. They were animatedly chatting to their friends, ensuring they didn’t have to talk to each other.”

Night of the Doctor Actress Wants Mcgann Series
Emma Campbell-Jones, who played Cass in The Night of the Doctor, has called for a full spin-off series with Paul McGann as the Doctor. Speaking to Flicks and the City, she said:
“I know that Cass has died but with time travel [anything is possible] and also they don’t actually definitively say that she’s definitely dead. So there’s a tiny window of opportunity. You never know. Ultimately Cass just needs to see he’s the good Doctor. She’s only just met him and has come from a world that has been torn apart by the Time Lords and their nefarious antics.”
