Speaking to Metro, Ninth Doctor actor Christopher Eccleston has declared his love for the auld enemy Star Trek
“You have villains and some space,” he said. “But it’s basically a brilliantly written love triangle between Kirk, Spock and Bones - lieutenant Uhura being the ‘beard’ from what I could see.”
Ecclestone however didn’t express any urgent desire to follow Benedict Cumberbatch into the franchise
“The original Star Trek series was important to me,” he continued. “But I wouldn’t whore for it.”
Comment: What is this? The Benedict Armold! He needs a damn good thrashing!! … We are of course joking, we love our Star Trek here at DWA (Well except Voyager and Enterprise, nobody loves those) and are eagerly awaiting Chris’ latest film Thor: The Dark World which is out October 30 in the UK.
