It appears Missy may be appearing in more than three episodes this season as a new episode synopsis from the BBC reveals a surprise guest role in episode eight.
Missy returns this Saturday in Extremis
After initially only being revealed for this week’s Extremis and the impending season finale, Michelle Gomez’s has now been officially stated to appear in Toby Whithouse’s Lie of the Land, the eighth episode of the season.
The synopsis reads:
“The world is gripped by a mass delusion and only Bill Potts can see the truth. When even the Doctor is fighting on the wrong side, it’s up to Bill to convince the Time Lord that humanity is in deadly danger. And if she can’t do that, she may just have to kill her best friend… The Doctor is played by Peter Capaldi, Bill by Pearl Mackie and Nardole by Matt Lucas. Michelle Gomez guest stars as Missy.”
