Mark Gatiss has been doing the media rounds ahead of this coming Saturday’s broadcast of Empress of Mars, the second Ice Warrior story from the Sherlock co-creator.

Big Finish have announced that Paul McGann will be joined by a brand new companion for the much anticipated The Time War series - Bliss, portrayed by Rakhee Thakrar.

Best known perhaps for her role in Eastenders as Shabnam Masood, Thakrar has also starred in Peep Show, The Jury, DCI Banks, Doctors and Holby City.
