Doctor Who Worldwide has come into possession of a second set of E-Mails from the British Film Institute (BFI) which seemingly show some insight into potential timetabling of events for the BFI in 2014. The E-Mails crucially show correspondence including what appears to be from Television International Enterprises Archives.
These E-Mails were legitimately obtained by the right to Freedom of Information and provided by a third party.
The E-Mails refer firstly to the scheduling of a meeting in 2013 to discuss plans for 2014 between the BFI and seemingly Phil Morris given the very distinctive style of reply and then, the key E-Mail of May 19, 2014 also in a style very reminiscent of that of Mr Morris:
Firstly, from a figure at the BFI:
“Hi [REDACTED] Just checking in on the off-chance you had any updates or timetable suggestions for our events here. Hope all is going well with the quest. Very best [REDACTED]
And in reply:
“Hi [REDACTED], Great to hear from you no timetables as of yet i am afraid but possibly towards the end of the year we shall see .The Quest is going well lots of new avenues etc .All worth it in the end [REDACTED] Best Regards [REDACTED]”
Also of interest, on January 28, 2014:
Hi [REDACTED[ Everything is fine here however the speculation around is just beyond comprehension at the moment. Extremely busy with the company at the moment on projects overseas which I must oversee. Hopefully at some point it would be nice to be in a position to organise something however strong leads are still being followed and it would be foolish to jeopardise this in the short term .I will certainly get together with you before too long for lunch see what we can do as time allows . All the best [REDACTED] avalanched at the moment..but in a good way Best Regards [REDACTED]”
Speculation will almost certainly be divided between those that suggest the E-Mails indicate that missing material has been recovered and will be returned once “the quest” is completed and those that believe they indicate the ongoing “quest” is what would bring back the material to be timetabled and nothing else has yet been recovered.
