In more bad news for the BBC, the second episode of Series 8 has now re-leaked to an online file sharing network in downloadable form.
The episode, part of the infamous Marcelo Camargo cache, was originally leaked alongside the series premiere Deep Breath but from reports at the time was unable to be downloaded.
The new release, like Deep Breath, is in black and white and without many effects shots and music. The BBC have urged fans not to download the episodes.
The BBC said earlier this month:
“BBC Worldwide has taken this issue extremely seriously and disciplinary action has been implemented as a result of the incident, while there is still a risk that this leak will result in more of this content emerging, so far the impact has been contained.”
And also:
“We deeply regret this and apologise to all the show’s fans, the BBC and the cast and crew who have worked tirelessly making the series. We would like to make a plea to anyone who might have any of this material and spoilers associated with it not to share it with a wider audience so that everyone can enjoy the show as it should be seen when it launches.”
Doctor Who returns on August 23 on BBC One, BBC America and ABC as well as in cinemas. Episode 2 will be broadcast on August 30 and is written by Phil Ford.
