The BARB overnight ratings for Kill the Moon have been released and show a slight decrease of just 70,000 viewers viewers on The Caretaker, pulling in 4.82m viewers or 21.5% of the viewing audience.
The Caretaker had drawn 4.89m and Doctor Who‘s retention of almost all of it’s audience at 8:30pm against The X-Factor can only be considered excellent for the second week in a row.
Doctor Who was the third highest rated programme of the evening behind Strictly Come Dancing with 9.06m viewers, up from last week’s 8.18m viewers, with a massive 43.3% share and The X-Factor which drew 7.32m, down again from last week’s 7.85m.
A final consolidated figure for Kill the Moon including all iPlayer viewings will be released in a weeks time.
