Doctor Who Producer Steven Moffat has admitted that he leaves “secrets” from the show lying around despite efforts to maintain secrecy and his own personal loathing of spoilers.
Moffat, who pens episodes of both Who and Sherlock, admitted that while there are always plans put in place to ensure secrecy, even he sometimes leaves it to chance, telling The Sun:
“I’m endlessly leaving around my bag of ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Sherlock’ secrets.”
The have been a number of Doctor Who leaks throughout the past year that will have caused some consternation in Cardiff, from Matt Smith’s leaving to the entire plot of The Time of the Doctor leaking online in December, the ship has certainly not been watertight. While we’re sure none are a result of any carelessness, we think Steven should handcuff that bag to his wrist all the same!
