The Doctor Who World Tour continued last night as Deep Breath had its English premiere at BFI Southbank.
Held ahead of the BFI’s ’Sci Fi – Days of Fear and Wonder’ which commences in October, the premiere featured a guest panel including Steven Moffat, Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman.
Steven Moffat said of Capaldi at the event:
“He’s been rehearsing this in his bedroom since he was four”
The Doctor Who World Tour moves on to Seoul in South Korea next on Saturday August 9.
Deep Breath will be released as a standalone Blu-ray and DVD with a U.S. release date of September 9th.
Deep Breath, the feature-length first episode from Series 8 of Doctor Who. Peter Capaldi stars as the Twelfth Doctor.
Deep Breath is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround.
Special features have yet to be announced but the release will feature an hour of extra content. It can be ordered via the Amazon link below.
