In words sure to provoke debate amongst fans, Doctor Who Producer Steven Moffat has revealed that Peter Capaldi’s Twelfth Doctor really does fancy his companion Clara!
Speaking at BAFTA’s recent ten year anniversary celebration in New York, Moffat went further by suggesting that the Doctor is “besotted” with all his companions:

Last night’s BAFTA awards were a veritable who’s who (heh) of Doctor Who, despite the show itself not being nominated in any category. The likes of Jenna Coleman, Maisie Williams and Noel Clarke were all in attendance where Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss’ Sherlock took home the Radio Times readers choice award.
