Please note this piece is personal opinion and based off rumour and what has come from sources. It makes the assumption that other episodes have been found and despite how much we do believe other episodes exist, the possibility does remain that indeed nothing has been found. The list is constructed off the standing of the source, personal information and the amount of differing confirmations. It does not include the 90 episode omni-rumour which is well known enough and encompasses all.

Some of these sources are taken from forum chatter, some from what we are told personally, some from our own enquiries. We don’t give the names of any sources or posters without knowledge they wish us to do so. On that note, some of our forum chatter is taken from the poster Ssorg who we recognise from a wide variety of locations (though it should be noted, and may add to its veracity, that The Wheel in Space rumour was known to us through two other means).

1) The Web of Fear 3 exists. An eyewitness account (Ssorg) has reported seeing the film can for Web of Fear 3 and we were given particular information from a high source that it will be ready for a DVD release.

2) The Daleks Masterplan has been found in part. Not part of the Phill Morris hoard, the rumour either states that episodes 4 and 7 have been found, 11 and 12, or all four. Speculation began after Paul Vanezis made a posting at the missing episodes forum that suggested a change in the status of The Feast of Steven. Parts 11 and 12 are the previously rumoured films that are stuck together, not Marco Polo as previously rumoured.

3) The Massacre and The Macra Terror will be the next two recoveries announced. This is of course the big one at the moment, from a variety of wide ranging sources. Originally including Marco Polo, the rumour has developed to omit the Season One story.

4) Marco Polo has been found. It was always rumoured and included with the early rumours and despite its non-release, still goes strong with varying reasons given for it not being included with Enemy and Web. It being in the hands of the BBC is explicitly denied by Steve Roberts.

5) The Wheel in Space has been found in part in Nigeria. The three episodes are held up at customs. Given that The Wheel in Space was sold to BPTV and Phil Morris returned to Africa this year, this one has a ring of likelihood to it.

6) The Tenth Planet Episode 4 has been found and is held by the BFI. There was some consternation between the BFI and the BBC surrounding the release of The Tenth Planet on DVD without the episode.
