The Wholock collective maybe in for a second disappointment after Matt Smith poured water on suggestions he may appear in Sherlock soon, hot on the heels of Benedict Cumberbatch proclaiming he won’t appear in Doctor Who.
Smith, our dearly departed Eleventh Doctor was speaking on a panel at Wizard World Con Aaàaaaaawhen suggested there was no room for him on Sherlock:
“Listen, there’s no room for me on Sherlock! They’ve got Benedict and Martin, that’s quite enough peculiar Englishmen for that show. There’s no room for another.”
Smiths comments come days after Benedict Cumberbatch quashed hopes he may appear in Doctor Who in the future with his sweeping comments at the Oz Comic Con in Sydney:
“I’m never gonna play the Doctor and nothing to do with the Whoniverse.”
That’s that settled then!

He’s brilliant as the 2nd Thing.
