The ninth series of Doctor Who has kicked off filming in Cardiff with the BBC confirming principal photography is now underway for the forthcoming series.
While there are only a few details currently available, the filming season always offers some tantalising glimpses of things to come for fans and we’ll bring you all the news and images we can get over the coming few months.
As we understand it, Episode 4 is to be filmed first.
Series 9 will begin with The Magician’s Apprentice by Steven Moffat and will see the returns of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman as the Doctor and Clara Oswald.
While no air-date is set, should last years schedule be maintained we can expect to see the series on screens sometime in the late summer or early autumn/fall season.
